Who I Am

Dr. Nicole Wall (she/her/hers) is a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor based in the Chicagoland area that also holds a state of Washington Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate license, Illinois Licensed Professional Counselor license, and National Certified Counselor status after graduating with 2 Masters Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and in Clinical Psychology in 2022 from National Louis University in Chicago. She has also earned a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology, emphasizing in Trauma and Integrated Healthcare Psychology. Dr. Wall obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Eastern Illinois University in 2015, which allows her to pull from many philosophical and spiritual toolboxes to help people in whatever way they need. 

Dr. Wall has previously worked with several different populations including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, the elderly, families, and couples. 

Among other places, she has worked in: 

A Residential Mental Health Group Home setting, working with teenage mothers with multiple diagnoses and incarceration histories to re-gain, or retain, custody of their children; 

A Residential Childcare facility, working with children as young as 2 years of age, that have experienced various levels of trauma; 

A Township Youth and Family Services setting, working with couples and families, as well as elementary students in small groups and after school programming; 

A Therapeutic Day School, conducting IEP Evaluations and working with children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities; 

A Psychiatric Inpatient Hospital, working with all ages and diagnoses at high acuity; 

A Level 1 Trauma Center Medical Hospital working in their outpatient clinic doing psychotherapy & psychological evaluations, as well as performing trauma consults on the medical floors; 

Various Private practices in the Chicagoland area working primarily with individuals in outpatient psychotherapy both virtually and in person.
